Barrus are pleased to support St. Georges House, a non-profit making Christian Outdoor Centre catering for groups of young people from youth clubs, schools, church groups and youth organisations. A Mariner 60hp outboard engine has been supplied to power the centre’s 5.2m Ribcraft which is used both as a sailing boat and a safety boat on the Taw and Torridge Estuary in Devon. The centre also has the use of a slipway courtesy of the Royal Marines. Martin Larrington, Head of the Centre comments, “I would like to express my thanks to Barrus and Mike Dennis for the generous assistance with our charitable trust. The engine has been fantastic and it looks great. It has given everyone a lot more confidence and the smile on the children’s faces is a great reward.”
